Continuing our theme of sharing and discussing travel mishaps, I wanted to shine a light on this post from the AWS archive. Even if I wrote it some time ago, the information is still relevant, and if nothing else, it features two entertaining/interesting (now) stories look back on…let’s go:
Sometimes things don’t go the way you hope when you travel. Forgotten items, long lines, you name it. But the one thing we all fear as travelers: what happens if I miss my connecting plane? Will I end up like Tom Hanks in that movie where he lives in an airport forever? It happened to me today (2025 edit: October 16 2018). So let’s talk about it.
