As travel season truly kick in I’ve been taking some time to think about what makes travel great and why I’m so passionate about it. There isn’t one straight answer to this question, but one of the things that strangely came up for me is the travel mishaps.

Sometimes things can go so wrong, you’d think no one would believe you if you told them. They can go so horrendously wrong, you don’t realize they’re going right.

I wanted to share with you this post I wrote a while ago. It was right after a day so disastrous, I couldn’t have even made it up if I had tried. I hope you can join me in now, finding the funny side.
